Brett Anderson (1-1, 4.21) vs. Eddie Butler (2-2, 3.81).
Our boys are 5-2 on this current road trip in their last seven games, which brings them to Colorado today — except the weather may not be cooperating. The current forecast calls for rain and thunder in Denver, creating a prime opportunity for a doubleheader in L.A. when the Rockies visit Dodger Stadium next weekend.
If we do get a game today, who will power the offense? Will it be yesterday's hero, Yasmani Grandal, whom I recently likened to a handful of magic beans? NL Rookie of the Month, Alex Guerrero? NL Rookie of Next Month, Joc Pederson? With Kemp traded and Puig on the DL, color me as surprised as anyone about the Dodgers' offensive prowess. But hey, as our mantra goes: We'll take it.

Is it still raining there?
psst we're 2-2 on the trip
looking at weather maps, starting right now, it looks like there'll be a decent window to get in a few innings
So it looks like we're gonna give it a try
JoPed with a leadoff walk
JRoll Ks
JP steals second
Joc is like a young Kemp
JT walks, 1st and 2nd, 1 out
I don't think the Red Sox still have any players from the AGon trade
AG with a ground rule double, 1-0 good guys, would have been two if not for the GR
great sliding catch by Dickerson but JT tags up to score
wild pitch doesnt get far enough away, AG caught at home, although it didnt look like there was a tag
Turner at second tonight, barely gets Blackmon at first
ground single
another rolling single
slow-moving double play but it works
Dre walks
wow, nice double play
Anderson gives it a ride but to the biggest part of the park
at least Jimmy can still run
another devil jump-up!
How we lookin' for getting the rest of this game in?
OK FB needs sleep
I pass the baton... to whoever will take it

G'nite, Brimmy! Say hey to the other Brimmies!
Crazy play, but the Dodgers get out of the fifth. 2-1 in the 6th, but no real threatening rain at the moment.
Getting that play at the plate for the final out of he fifth was huge. Back in rain delay, top 6 with the bases full of Dodgers and one out. If the delay continues and they call the game, it's official as a 2-1 win for LA
Still in rain delay
Pretty shitty that they've cut the radio feed in At Bat during the rain delay. How am I supposed to hear when the game comes out of delay?
Dodgers win!
And it's a final! Dodgers win
woop!
tonight's been called already, saving a Son from creating a game thread?
so unless there's a double header tomorrow (and there shouldn't be), we keep the belt! Who gets to raise it though? Brett Anderson and his 0 ER? Mother Nature?
I'm sleepy.
GT up!
