It took me awhile to warm up to Juan when he first got here but I grew to really appreciate him.....those unbelievable plays at 3rd, his leadership in the clubhouse and especially his friendship and guidance for Yasiel, not to mention the jazz hands! I hope we don't regret this trade.

LA loves you Papi....don't ever forget that.

So with Uribe gone, is this when Turner comes back to earth?

Fred's Brim said...

this ump is all over the place with his strike zone. that was right down the middle to Turner

Fred's Brim said...

AG2 got a lot of that but to center

Fred's Brim said...

fuck, this is going to be a long night. We are no good vs lefties

Fred's Brim said...

oof, Grank left that one up to Maybin 0-1 good guys

Fred's Brim said...

ugh are we gonna score tonight? Was Uribe the key to everything?

Fred's Brim said...

good inning for Zach

Fred's Brim said...

Uribe gives us a gift

Fred's Brim said...

make him get his pitches up!

Howie Ks again

Fred's Brim said...

wow, Turner with a slow roller between first and second, Peterson can't keep it in the infield, Rollins scores, 1-1 good guys

Fred's Brim said...

I guess it wasn't that slow, but Peterson needed to at least smother that and keep Rollins at third

Fred's Brim said...

Nice play by Turner at 3rd

Fred's Brim said...

Another good inning from Zach

Fred's Brim said...

ferchrissakes. AJ rips one off the top of the wall to left but is cut down by 10 feet at second

Fred's Brim said...

Zach beats out a slow roller up third

Fred's Brim said...

but it looks like he's out, replay coming

Fred's Brim said...

safe, Freeman was off the bag

Fred's Brim said...

heh Zach steals second without a throw

Fred's Brim said...

Joc with a single to right but it's too hard hit for zach to score from second

Fred's Brim said...

Jimmy with a weak grounder to third to end the threat

Fred's Brim said...

another good inning by Zach, through 6 with 97 pitches

OGAG with a single off the lefty

Fred's Brim said...

JT walks, first and second, 1 out

Fred's Brim said...

AG2 grounds into a double play
I feel like the bloom is off the Guerrero rose. I know CC and Puig are down but maybe it's time to give SVS some more ABs. I know he's got some back problems tonight but hopefully after he's OK, he'll get a few more rips

Fred's Brim said...

good inning by Yimi

Fred's Brim said...

uhoh Hatcher warming in the pen

Fred's Brim said...

AJ draws a walk

Fred's Brim said...

1 pitch from Hatcher, 1 bloop single

Fred's Brim said...

jesus, and then he walks a pinch hitter on 4 pitches

Fred's Brim said...

and that's it for Hatchet

Fred's Brim said...

Lipitor in

Fred's Brim said...

nearly a double play on the grounder to second, 1st and 3rd, 1 out

Fred's Brim said...

Maybin with a short fly to Joc, no tag, 2 outs

Fred's Brim said...

holy fuck that was terrible! Lipitor throws it way over Ellis' head. What the fuck was that?!?

Fred's Brim said...

1-2 good guys

Fred's Brim said...

Goddamit, GR double for Markakis

are any of those pitchers we traded for ready to pitch?

Fred's Brim said...

we always stink when I stay up late to watch

Fred's Brim said...

finally out of the inning, FB prepared to go to bed disappointed and tired

Fred's Brim said...

good inning for Nicasio

Fred's Brim said...

AG2 with a homer, 2-3 good guys

Fred's Brim said...

Dre with a single to left

Fred's Brim said...

Uribe boots the Ellis grounder but gets Dre at second, very close play

Fred's Brim said...

Callaspo up, wearing #5

Fred's Brim said...

Ump giving Callaspo every chance

Fred's Brim said...

fly out, tease over

Fred's Brim said...

good night all

spnk said...

well that sucks

Seemed like Uribe was still kinda playing for us last night. K with the bases loaded, error to let Rollins on who later scored, and the botched play in the ninth. Shame we couldn't capitalize on the last one.
