Post-Game 1 Thread: In Case You Missed It

Screenshot of the game from my TV

Dodgers 3, Snakes 1

Loyal SoSG readers: check
Snark: check
Kershaw on the mound: check
Vin: check
Opening Day Win: check

All is right with the world. At least for those of you able to watch the game. It feels like we're backing into the season, but we'll stay positive and take the Opening Day win.

Clayton Kershaw was his usual self, giving 6+ innings with seven Ks -who better to run out for a team's opener. And while our big guns weren't yet firing, Scott Van Slyke provided the offense with a two-run blast.

Two Sons were at the Yard (cricket ground), and two (plus Team Killeen) were at the TWC junket. SoSG had you covered if SportsNetLA did not.

And we're back to play another in, like, a few hours. Get some sleep, folks!

Orel was the best at the TWC party. He even wanted his photo with me! Class act he is, glad we have him on TV. Which hopefully we get to watch him someday at our house and just the TWC studios.

A lot of "Sure would be nice to see all this at home!"s were tossed out.

Orel and me, we did some chattin....I asked if he thought Dee was our new 2nd base guy, and he said he thought they would be rotating all season with three players...when I asked what that does to continuity for the team, he said, you gotta earn the position...
