Qantas Airlines Is Getting Fired Up For Opening Day 2014

As the official airline of the MLB visit to Sydney, Qantas Airlines is building excitement for the upcoming Opening Series in Sydney. My photograph doesn't do the magazine justice, so you can see a better version here:

Millions of baseball fans across the globe will have their eyes on Sydney when the city hosts the 2014 Major League Baseball (MLB) Opening Series this month. Qantas will fly the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Arizona Diamondbacks to play the first two games of their season at the Sydney Cricket Ground on March 22-23. This is only the sixth time an MLB game has been held outside the USA and the first time in Australia. The Dodgers and the Diamondbacks will also play Australia (March 20-21). Qantas is proud to be the Official Airline of the 2014 Opening Series. mlbsydney2014.com

The sidebar article also has an interview with A.J. Ellis that speaks to the country's limited understanding of baseball:

As team strategist, are you the brains of the team? We scout teams we’re playing and figure out which players hit well, what our game plan is. The catcher puts down his fingers behind home plate to tell the pitcher what to throw: sliders, curve balls.

I mean, Ellis is no Mitchell Johnson, but still.
