MONASTERIOS WAS NOT THE FUTURE OF THIS ORGANIZATION

Sad to see the news that flash-in-the-pan phenom Carlos Monasterios has been released. We were so sure that he was, one last time altogether: THE FUTURE OF THIS ORGANIZATION. We wish him well as he continues to rehab after what sounds like two surgeries to his arm. Godspeed, Monster Cheerios!

(h/t Marla Sportsczar on this news story)

UPDATE: Gratuitous picture of a Cheerio from Glee:

I don't get it, why would they just release him? Were his injuries so bad that he had no hope at all?

It sounds that way, FB. Tommy John, still had issues and had to go back in...long rehab ahead....all for a Rule 5 guy. I'm not saying I necessarily agree but I can see the thinking from a biz perspective.

AdChoices, you were doing so well with the Dodgers gear advert. But, "Jewish Assisted Living" ?? Really? What algorithm led you to serve this advert?

Actually, now I'm putting two and two together. Maybe MLASC needs assisted living after this Monster Cheerios news!

@dusty - My Mom was actually director of the board for a Jewish Assisted Living facility.

Maybe the algorithm's Skynet level genius
And becoming self-aware
