Barajas will make $4 million in 2012 and the club holds a $3.5 million option for the 2013 season. If Barajas is traded, it becomes a mutual option. This does not bode well for the offseason.
I think passing on matching $4 million for Rod Barajas is actually a good sign for this offseason.
Except now that Barajas can command $4 million, every free agent out there will want a Brink's Truck in the front yard.
