From last Friday's LA Times:
I was hoping to post matching Cy Young and MVP ads, but alas, that can't happen.
Random rantings and ravings about the Los Angeles Dodgers, written by a small consortium of rabid Dodger fans. With occasional comments on baseball, entertainment, pop culture, and life in general.

We should take up a collection and buy an ad anyway that would reference OUR MVP.
Colletti jsut went on MLBNetwork Radio and confirmed that JLo will be our first baseman for next season.
I'm actually at peace with that. I think JLo figured something out the second half of the season at the plate. And he's still one of the very best defensive 1B out there. I'd rather us spend on bullpen and/or other needs at this point, and let it ride with JLo.
Stop calling him JLo.
If our JLo comes back with an ass the size of the other JLo, we are in trouble.
If Loney comes back with a Fiat, we are in trouble.

If Woody had gone to the police, we wouldn't be in trouble.
Dusty, what the hell happened to Arkansas yesterday?
Jay Lowe
@Sax:
(cries)
Just saw a stat: Razorbacks are 20-5 in the last 2 years, and every loss was to a team that was ranked #1 at some point in the year.
@Dusty, that is fuckin brutal. Sorry.
Go Cardinal! Way to beat the Irish!
