Zack Greinke (19-3, 1.66) vs. Noah Syndergaard (9-7, 3.24).
Cut cut CUT! (throws script to ground) Can't this cast get anything right?
In Take 1 you guys just repeated what you did last time. The character of Clayton read 6 strong pages then ran into trouble on Page 7, and the character of Donnie ended up doing the wrong thing. AGAIN. The rest of the cast stood around and contributed next to nothing.
You call that acting?
What's that? What's your motivation? How about the millions of dollars we pay you? How about your audience of millions that just wants to see you hit your marks, say your lines and make this series a hit?
No more bullshit, OK? And...ACTION!

«Oldest ‹Older 201 – 243 of 243TBS putting out all the stops investigating slidegate. get over it already. i'm sure it wouldn't be that big of deal if the Dodgers had been on defense.
We would be losing our minds if the Dodgers had been on defense.
The sexual tension between Larry King and Mary Hart is palpable
damn. that inning was all Hatcher
Oh my...Hatcher looked good!!!
I'd be happy with an insurance run or two.
or 5
Has utley touched second base yet?
Erin...did you 'The in the neighborhood-gate play against us a couple of weeks ago??
i'm getting this feeling that Utley will be suspended for game 3.
Yaz took a good hack there. Surprised his shoulder didn't fall off

MLB Spokesperson: Replay allowable b/c that was not a neighborhood play. Reviewed under auspices of force play.

MLB Spokesperson: Umps did not feel it was illegal slide. They could have called it. During that review process, illegal slide not reviewed
You know what guys?? I remember freaking Reggie Jackson sticking his hip out into a ball in play during the World Series that was blatant interference. Chutley went in clean and hard...
Not sure of the actual question, Karen, but I only vaguely remember that situation with all the neighborhood rule stuff. My memory is failing me in my old age. I think my general feeling was that I just wanted the umps to be consistent about how they ruled. None of this having some umps saying they "don't believe" in the neighborhood play. It's either a rule or it's not. I don't necessarily think Utley's slide broke any rules, per se. I just think it's a weird thing in baseball to play the man instead of the base. Utley's slide was much, much closer to the bag than maybe i've seen. It's just so violent and unnecessary to me. I'm not going to continue to harp on it. I just know we'd be freaking out if the roles were reversed. I'd be livid if I were a Mets fan, even if the call from the umps is totally legitimate and within the rules.
here we go peeps.

Tejada has broken leg.
The ump came right out and said he didn't believe in the neighborhood play totally discounting the actual rule. I agree, they should be consistent but they are not always.
Someone's getting plunked on Monday
i'm sure i'd be pissed at Muttingly if the roles had been reversed. just cause.
Kenley!
one out for KJ
I feel bad for Tejada.
And Kershaw.
It's never easy with Kenley. Walks Granderson on 4 pitches
Janley being Janley
Never easy
Nail this baby down, Janley...
almost there
WIN
Ball game

I don't know about the rest of you but my stomach is doing flip flops...
ENJOY GAME 4 FB!!!!
YESSSS
See, Erin? Sax was right!
Thank goodness. I was not prepared for the responsibility of a loss.
Alex Cora on ESPN calling out Utley saying it was a dirty slide. now we have two sons against the Dodgers
i'm actually waiting for the post game interviews. should be interesting.
Nomar calling it clean...
Company man?
holy hell. these post game interviews are making things worse. Torre with a big fail.
Muttingly up there stuttering and muttering like a fool.
PGTUP
Legit take-out slide. Tejada also had his back to the runner, which is not a good thing to do. I hope Chutkey at least talks to Tejada privately.
