I HATE this. The information being released is so vague. There has to be a way to respect Vinny's privacy while giving us a clue as to his well being. For me, this man is family. To say he is 'resting comfortably' sounds like some manufactured response from an intern working in the PR department at Dodgers Stadium. Now I'm worried and really pissed.

Not that there isn't concern and not that even one inning of Vin isn't golden, but remind me how much of the playoffs he usually calls modernly? I thought once it went national in the playoffs we didn't get much Vin anyway.
Six innings per game. First three and last three. If the game went into extras, he'd keep on going.
...and only radio. Cable stations have telly rights, I believe.
The LA Times has a special section today all about the Dodgers and the postseason. There is an article in there that says Vin's procedure wasn't life threatening and he is expected to make a full recovery for next year.
