Roberto Hernandez (8-11, 4.06) vs. Felix Doubront (2-1, 1.50).
Is it me, or are these games getting earlier and earlier? As the Dodgers go to the third game of this series, let's hope that the Wrigley Field's confines can continue to be just as friendly for the visiting team as they were in the first two games. Not hoping for much given the Dodgers throw Roberto Hernandez, 0-2 in his last three starts, supported by a bullpen which had to put in an uncharacteristic amount of work yesterday in early relief for Clayton Kershaw. Doubront has apparently impressed in his three starts since joining the rotation August 30. But look, if this one goes bad, you can just hit snooze, turn off Fox (that's right, you will actually be able to see today's game!), and go back to bed.

First time we've featured Neeebs' mom in a GT.
Fauxto in Wrigley? Absolutely nothing wrong with that setup.

Wakey, wakey, hands of snakey, people!
Woke up to Dad's kind re-tweet. Thanks, Pops!
I don't do the Twitter thing. Can someone tell me what our old man said about us??
Wind blowing out for Hernandez.
Uh-oh.
@Karen
Click on the link that Saxy posted in his comment above.
Lots of Dodger fans at the Yard today from an early scan of the stands.
Thanks DB!
A-Went!
2-0
AGONEEE!!!
Adrian yanked the shit out of that ball.
Matty DON'T slide into first. Can't risk injury. We're 2-0 up in the first.
Fauxto gives up HR to first batter. This will not go well.
Our fears were realized on the first batter. Cubs dinger makes it 2-1 Dodgers.
Here we go. Fauxto gives up the solo to Coghlan.
Dammit! Got me Dusty.
I'm getting that icky feeling in my tummy.
25 pitches so far for Fauxto and only one out in the first. So much for him giving the pen some time off.
Hey, we have two outs now!
Seriously, is Zach Lee shittier than Fauxto?
It's usually not a good omen when Honey has to go out in the first inning.
FB I need you to jump and and say something rude about Fauxto - I just can't do this shithead any justice.
And he's fat as fuck, too. Can't even tuck in his shirt.
And we all heave a collective sigh of relief.
Three outs! We make meek party. Start the god damned bubble machine.
35 pitches. Jesus colorado.
well that was fast.
I feel sorry for the poor SOBs who forked out money to go see this game.
Wow. Fauxto sets them down in order.
YO ADRIAN!! 3 run mash. 5-1 Boys.
God damn, Adrian. You tha MAN.
We're going to need a lot more runs with Fauxto going.
Let's lay this on thick now, Justin.
@Karen
Right - it's almost like even though we're ahead, we're behind, right?
We don't have a grand slam this season? What a stat. Rancho suckiendo.
Dusty...It sure feels that way.
SlickVS brings another one in. 6-1 Blue team.
SVS working on getting us those runs. 6-1 for the good.
Buh bye, Dubront. Been nice knocking you around this morning.
C'mon Droop. Bring 'em home.
That Derek Jeter commercial made me teary.
I know. I'm a big old weenie.

I haven't seen the Jeter commercial yet. I'm afraid I'd like it, and all I really want to do is hateHateHATE!
turn down the volume in here. i've gots a headache.
Sorry, Spanky.
(hatehatehate) *whispers*
Wow. Circus catch by Yasiel in center.
Great diving catch by Puig! He throws in to double up the runner on 2nd, then holds his shoulder. Uh-oh.
Please be ok, Puig.

Exactly DB. Puig's just starting to get hot again with the bat. We need him!
Puig up to bat. First swing should be interesting.
Looks like he's ok!
Puig's shoulder is good. Hits it off the top of the left center wall for a double.
Whew!
Juuuuust a bit outside.
Bullpen is holding it together so far. Top of the 7th and we're still up 6-2.
I'm starting to feel a little edgy now.
Shit! JP allows a 3 run dinger and it's now 7-6 Dodgers in the bottom of the 7th.
^Blue.
You were right on with your feeling Karen.
QS...I hate it when that happens.

JINX!
Brandon League is the answer.
League in. Baseball gods don't fail us now!
League out of it.
Anyone else up for something to drink?
Dre sighting.
I seriously forgot about Dre.
Yup...I spoke too soon.
@Karen
Waaaaay ahead of you. #Margaritas
We should have rooted for the rain.
Disastrous. We give Fauxto a 7 million run lead and he fucks it up, and then every pitcher after that - save, shockingly - League - fucks it up even worse.
unfuckingbelievable
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Gnomes was rooting against the rain.
I guess it could be worse. It could be Niedenfuer and Clark all over again.
It seems that BWil is not the answer either.
Why do we put ourselves through this again? Oh yeah. The glory.
*cries*
Son of a bad word. I am so angry. Angry Dusty. *(&@&^BOHDP(*#$Y&)*HIUDJN
Out of it. 8-7 going to ninth. Puig, Agon and Matty coming up.
A heart wrenching loss. I hate this.
Cut yer hair, EK!
Too pissed to think about the PGT. Also, I'm too mad.
FB FUCKING STEAMED!
Wright's starting tomorrow? Bullpen games are sometimes necessary but you'd rather not have them after 3 bullpen games before it. And if you have a terrible bullpen. I guess that also means that Donnie is "saving" Haren for the Giants
Jamey started 1 game for Tampa last year but before that he hadn't started a game since 2007 with Texas
Glad I missed this one
SF-SD scoreless, bot 3
Scoreboard watching this SF @ SD game. 3-0 SD with a chance for more.
Nope, no more. 3-0 Padres through six.
Ah, got Scooby Doo'd
Giants threatening in the 9th. 3-1 Pads
3-2 Pads, 2 out
Damn, Giants rallied and almost won. But they lost!
