LA Times, In Desperation Move, Emulates SoSG

I know the newspaper business has been reeling, and the LA Times in particular has raised prices and cut content, appearing like a ship without a rudder, devoid of strategic direction. And now, it seems that one of their key online sports blogs is swiping an idea straight out of SoSG Eric Karros' bag of tricks: a weekly online flash-game competition.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right EK? Fanerman, at least we know you're already in mid-season form! Good luck!

Playing in the Los Angeles Times competition after winning in the SoSG battle?! That's like winning an Olympic gold medal and then playing against high school kids.
