To recap: Dodgers down 3-2, bottom nine, one out, Howie Kendrick on first. Nationals closer Shawn Kelley gives up a single up the middle to Yasiel Puig, but Nats CF Michael Taylor swiftly runs past the ball which rolls all the way to the wall for an error. Puig then races around the bases, blows through a stop sign, and scores the winning run. That's the second dagger for Dusty this series, as the Dodgers end up sweeping the pesky Nats. And after losing to Clayton Kershaw in the opener (expected), but then Yasmani Grandal's three-run HR yesterday (unexpected), Nationals manager Dusty Baker can't be happy tonight.
What the heck, how about you watch it on your own:

Thanks to Delino for his similar post (I had forgotten about the 5 Ks!)
BTW, is Dodgers 3B Coach Chris Woodward excited, or not, about Puig running through his stop sign? He is clearly telling Puig to stop, and then when the Nats relay man can't get the ball out of his glove, he fist-pumps the right arm. But then he's the first guy walking back to the dugout while the whole team is coming out to congratulate Puig.
Hmm...
"I was ready for the hit and nobody thought that the ball would go through," Puig said through an interpreter. "So when I did see the ball go through, I had to talk to my hamstring so I can figure out how far I could go on the bases."
Woodward needed to go enjoy a slice of humble pie.
Ha! I totally missed Woodward giving him the stop sign; Puig just blew right through it.
Woodward is looking for Bernstein
I went to bed after Baez gave up the homer. This was a great replay to wake up to! Gotta keep riding the wave of good fortune as long as we can.
I wonder if Puig ignored the stop sign from Woody because it would have hurt his hammy to put on the breaks.
Yay WINZ! I'll take it!
