The Dodgers maintain their three-game lead in the west with another win over Arizona. Pederson homered for the fourth straight game, making him the first Dodgers rookie since Bill Sudakis (1969) to do so. And despite being down 2-0, 3-2, and 4-3, the Dodgers kept on coming, tying the game in the seventh with the aforementioned Pederson HR, and then going ahead on a Howie Kendrick single later that inning. Jimmy Rollins added an insurance run in the eighth for the final tally.
Justin Turner had a home run earlier in the game, and scored three runs to lead the Dodgers.
