“Live. Breathe. Blue.” reportedly was created in partnership with Walton Isaacson, the Dodgers advertising agency.
Dodgers' Executive Vice President/ Chief Marketing Officer Lon Rosen is the Dodger person the ad agency reports to.
Now imagine the meeting presenting new slogans for the Dodgers. Did anyone jump up and say BAM! You got it! Wow, you hit it out of the park with this one! It's a home run!
Uh hell no but someone said yes for it to be the new slogan. I would fire that person.
Interesting takes. Usually cynical, I really like this one.
I do wish every year they would just go with "It's Time for Dodger Baseball".
