Hmmm...out after five?
Random rantings and ravings about the Los Angeles Dodgers, written by a small consortium of rabid Dodger fans. With occasional comments on baseball, entertainment, pop culture, and life in general.

The five years (or x number of years) was always going to be a part of this, no surprises. It wasn't just about the money for CK; it was also about future flexibility. He always maintained he didn't want to play anywhere else but ultimately may be intrigued by free agency sometime in his career. This solves the issue - he keeps playing for us, he gets paid handsomely, and he gets future flexibility to test FA or be Dodger for life. Win win all around as far as I'm concerned. I'll be out there every time he's on the mound.
WOOP WOOP!
FB happy!
Texas boy makes good! It's a win all the way around.
The only good thing to come from Texas, Meanie; EVER.
Dusty, I was just thinking the same thing about not missing another Kershaw start, even though I live in the IE (sighs).
Congrats, Clayton, well deserved.
Here's a picture of the Kid warming up vs COL. He would go on to rack up 10 Ks including FOUR to this guy. I'd like to think I had a little part in making that Golden Sombrero possible for Karina's man (no, not Stubbs!)
whelp, no Tanaka. Does this mean we try to sign Garza or Arroyo or hope that Bills and/or Beckett are healthy and not terrible?
