Anyone Have Any Intergectic Friends?

Apparently, The Number 1 College Party...needs college students to attend. Especially the intergectic collegiate types.

A search of the word "gectic" reveals a lot of typos for "hectic." So intergectic means "between hectic." That explains it!

I also liked how "intergectic" forwards one to the Beasties' song. Which then makes me think about Planetary, the great Warren Ellis / John Cassaday comic.

So let's break down the typo assuming they were going for "energetic." I identify three independent mistakes:

1) leading 'e' instead of 'i'
2) 3rd letter 't' superfluous
3) 8th letter 'c' superfluous

So in a 9-letter word they made three mistakes. Can't complain about a 0.667 avg!

Perhaps they are looking for students willing to interject themselves into the party? Though I have no idea how one would go about that.

Did the English department hire G. W. Bush as their new grammar professor? He absolutely would have tried to conjugate a verb like interject into an adjective.
