AZ Gallen (5-4, 3.12) vs. NYM Scott (0-2, 3.97)
The only NL West game of relevance today is Snakes @ Mets. The Mets held a post-game team meeting yesterday, after getting swept by the Dodgers in ignominious fashion. We'll see if it helps them rally against the Diamondbacks, who are a sleeper playoff team despite being in fourth place, five games below .500 (and 9.5 games behind the Dodgers).

Also, the free MLB.tv game of the day is A's at Rays. The Athletics were down 3-0 but stormed back for four runs in the third, so now it's 4-3 OAK, mid-6. Nice to have a game on in the background while at work!
TB wins, 6-5, in 12 innings.
Diamondbacks up 2-1 in the top of the sixth. Ketel Marte had a 2-RBI double in the third, but Francisco Lindor answered in the bottom of the inning with a solo HR.
Meanwhile, in Boston, Nick Pivetta had eight consecutive Ks to tie Roger Clemens' record. But Harvard-Westlake's own Jack Flaherty of Detroit is working on something special vs. the Red Sox, in the sixth. Tigers up 2-0.
Mets tie it at 2!
Flaherty gives up a hit but left with a shutout through 6.2 and his team ahead (tigers are now up, 5-0). Nice job by Flaherty!
Mets win it! JD Martinez, solo HR in the eighth!
