James Loney Frees Himself

James Loney has conducted an interview regarding the November traffic incident that has been the subject of much speculation over the last several days. As disappointed as I may be in his lack of power hitting, I think he's a great kid (and one of the best defensive 1B in the league) and am glad that this is turning out not to be anything stupid that he inflicted on himself.

Hit the weights, hit the batting cage, and we'll be there to cheer you on in April, JLo.

The drug tests are nice and all, but did they give him a CT scan? If what he's saying is true, he hit his head hard enough to cause him to black out AND act erratically. There could be some serious damage there and I hope it wasn't missed.

Nice job by Loney to try and defuse the issue... Nice job by his PR dudes too!

Agree, Nomo.

Paul, can you get our trainer on this, stat?

Ps- I don't mean the Sons' trainer. For every injury or malady, that guy recommends rye and fruitcake. Where did we find this guy?

He came highly recommended by the voices in Orel's head.

Since Dodgers King started it. I am really going to sound like a dick.

Since he wasn't wearing his uniform his first instinct kicked in. He was a half black man in a car accident so he "started his engine and tried to drive away."

@FV

That's all a brother could do since he was near the Rampart Division.

"I just want to make it clear that I would never drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol. I was just in an accident.''

How about I would never do drugs, or drive while intoxicated.

DB that is hilarious. I am glad you didn't get mad since you are the only black man on the Sons staff. DeDe doesn't count.
