Just what we need going into a late season run... an over the hill backup catcher and a sad Clayton Kershaw. What in the world is the front office thinking??? Someone, anyone, please explain this one to me.

His fancy stats are an upgrade from AJ's, and he hits lefties, but yeah, it still leaves me feeling a bit hollow. And it makes me paranoid that Clayton's short-term prognosis isn't as glowing as they made it seem earlier in the week.
