So says Jim Bowden (link insider only):
MLB ranks (regular season): Runs: 6th | OPS: 3rd | HR: 16th | SB: 2nd
Projected lineup
The Dodgers enter this postseason with a much better lineup than last year's team, which reached the National League Championship Series before falling to the St. Louis Cardinals. The biggest change is at the top of the lineup, where Dee Gordon and Yasiel Puig each scored 92 runs while combining to steal 75 bases (64 by Gordon). The middle of the lineup is more potent thanks to a return to full health by the end of the season of both Matt Kemp and Hanley Ramirez. Adrian Gonzalez had another banner season as their most productive hitter, leading the team in both home runs (27) and RBIs (116). Carl Crawford finally won the left field job by season's end and hit .300 with 23 stolen bases. The Dodgers are well-balanced, possess an impressive power/speed combo and have the ability to hit the game's best pitchers. 1. Los Angeles Dodgers
The Cardinals rank eighth.
