Game 11 Thread: April 13 @ DBacks, 5p

Hyun-Jin Ryu (1-1, 2.13) vs. Ian Kennedy (1-0, 4.15)

Hyun-Jin Ryu goes for the Dodgers on the same day PSY drops his follow-up to SoSG-beloved Gangnam Style? Coincidence? I think so!

Contrary to PSY, Ryu's second effort was far superior to his first.* (Though, I'm kinda digging the new track above.) Hopefully, he continues that form today.

The Dodgers are still seeking a mother-fathering cathartic moment to wash away Thursday night's fiasco. Not being a gentleman to Kennedy would be a good start.

*Yes, I'm aware Gangnam Style was not PSY's first song.

It's Been Over 24 Hours Since The Last Dodger Game

So here's some random stuff for you, to tide you over until the Dodgers' next step toward defeat.

Jeff Kent is not having a good time in Survivor.

Ewoks are harmonizing.

Gangnam Style is the most-liked youtube video of all time. Congratulations, Dusty, on that itchy trigger finger! Except, please make sure this meme doesn't get out of hand.

Post-Game 146 Thread: Nomo Calls The Season

CARDINALS 5, DODGERS 2

So with Gnomes' pronouncement, that's two of us now who are hanging up our hopes for a post season. If we end up getting in, I'll eat Fred's Brim's old skanky LA cap. If Kershaw's hip injury is serious, that would leave us with our #1 and #2 starters and make recently-acquired Josh Beckett our ace, with a big fall-off after that. Oh, and we still can't shake the Noffense blues.

All is not lost, though. At least for our remaining home games, we can follow with great interest the intrigue of the at-game Dodgers Jukebox contest. Current champion: Gangnam Style! Let's keep this going, folks. It's about all we have left.

Time For SoSG Dusty To Reactivate His Chat Roulette Account

Via Gawker, gangnam style meets chat roulette. Enjoy (especially the guy in the yellow suit, plus the way they mock up elevator doors).

Game 135 Thread: Sept 2 vs. Diamondbacks, 1p

Chris Capuano (11-10, 3.58) vs. Wade Miley (14-9, 2.85).

The Dodgers weren't exactly overpowering Saturday night, but the 2-1 victory over the Diamondbacks broke the Snakes' eight-game win streak over LA, and kept us 4.5 GB the Giants and 1.5 games out of the wild card. And most importantly, the Dodgers are undefeated in September.

Today, in a matchup against lefties, let's hope we can finally open up the can of whupass which has been resealed for all three games of this homestand. If we can go all Opee Gungan sub style today, it would be great. (Did I get that right, Dusty? My Korean is out of practice.)

Orel and I will be baking out there on Field Level today (third base side). Give a shout if you want to hydrate.

Gangnam Style Arrives at Chavez Ravine!

I'd swear I saw SoSG AC in one of those Dance Cam shots. I'mma bust this dance out next time I'm at the game.

And here's a fan video from that night:

Post-Game 109 Thread: We Doin' This Gangnam Style

DODGERS 7, CUBS 6

This one was a real corker. We were up, we were down. We were up, we were tied. Ultimately, we won thanks to a walkoff hit by Hanley Ramirez to drive in Matt Kemp, who didn't disappoint for the post-walkoff dry hump (assisted by Ethier and Kershaw). Dodgers get the home sweep of the hapless Cubbies, SoSG readers don't have to see any more pictures of young bear cubs, and Dodgers remain a half game behind the Hated Ones with the Rockies coming into town.

Big Ups: Kemp, HanRam, Ethier, Cruz, Blanton

Big Shit List: Loney (for his second consecutive poor fielding decision to take away the force at first), Mattingly (for running through so much pitching), Guerra (for just not getting it done, again)
