Yamamoto vs. Pivetta.
Five hits, and two runs, across two games against a division rival. That is not going to get it done.
The Dodgers slipped back into second place with yesterday's 5-1 loss, and look to slip further if we drop today's game. We are looking up at the Padres now. What a train wreck.
Teoscar Hernandez is 0-for-7 with 5 Ks in this series, and playing defense like an old man out there in right field. He's hurt. But there's no time for sympathy.

Dodgers basically need a shutout to win
On the pre-game they are talking about how the players weren't adjusting to Cortez yesterday. My first question is why and my second question is where was the manager and coaches and why weren't they in the players ears?
HAPPY KOBE DAY!!!!
meh. all i can get is Padres streams. y'all on your own
the hitting coach needs to go. every year the offense struggles for the most part. the winning just covers it up. time for a change
Teoscar is a disaster. 0-for-8 this series with 6 Ks. Just stop.
@Saxy...The one run we have was from a slam that Teo had taken away from him in the first. It ended up being a sac fly.
Rusing hits a 3 run homer. 5-2 LA T7.
2 run homer for Freddie. 7-2 Good Guys T7.
Shohei hits his 45th HR. 8-2 Blue T9.
FINALLY...the baseball gods have shown mercy. Dodgers win 8-2 and are back in first.
need to sweep the Reds and Dbags to make me feel good
@karen: thanks—I’m sorry, I am just not feeling it on this team. The offense sucks. And yeah, Teo had the first run on a sac fly. He was still 0-for-11 this series with seven Ks. That is just crap, plain and simple.
