So, Mike Trout. Best player in baseball. Hands down. I'm a certified Mookiehead and in awe of Aaron Judge, but Trout's dominance is indisputable.
The rest of the Angels? Well, put it this way: Arte Moreno didn't think adding Ross Stripling to his team "would make much of a difference." The Angels' pitching staff has a 4.54 ERA, 22nd in MLB.

Rios hits a two-out double and pulls a hamstring, but argues to stay in. Then Beaty comes up and singles to center, but tries to stretch it to second like an idiot and is thrown out--and Rios, hobbling around the basepaths, hadn't crossed the plate in time, so no run scores.
Beaty blew it. Rios blew it. No score through 1.5.
Stupid
Rios hurt himself coming around third on a basehit by Beaty. Beaty tagged out at second before Rios touched home to end our half of the second. No run.
Rios should have pulled his sorry ass out of the game.
Beaty should have stayed on first and taken the RBI.
Idiots.
