I'm looking for these two teams to beat the crap out of each other THEN go into extras and kick the shit out of each other some more.. I know the Cubs beat us last year but I really, really don't want to see the Nats.

Being the distrusting girl I am...may I just add that I don't for a single second believe Strasberg was not feeling well. Beginning 24 hours before game time the front office held a news conference talking about IV's, antibiotics and how sick he's been for the prior few days. Then out pops Dusty with his spiel about 90% well and all his BS. It was games men ship plain and simple.Tommy was one of the great masters of the mind game. (Think Kirk Gibson hiding out in the tunnel and Tommy putting somebody else (don't remember who) in the on deck circle. And whose teet did Dusty Baker suckle from? That's right..our much beloved Tommy.

Great point, Karen. I think everyone knew it was going to be Stras but the Nats decided to make the Cubs do a little extra homework. Maddon of all people would be able to appreciate that
