There doesn't seem to be a definitive online resource for ceremonial first pitches, although searching for specific people seems to work. What say you, SoSG readership? Anyone have any ideas?

It has recently come to my attention that I was one of the choices in the January 21, 2011 poll "Who is the best equipment manger in the UFL?" Although I cannot access the poll, the comments seen to indicate that I came in fourth place. Anyone who has followed my career knows that my work with the Colonials was severely underrated. My degree of difficulty was highest, not only because I had to work out of an old hotel closet but also because I was handcuffed by being forced to hire the nephew of the head equipment manager of the league. History has shown that not only did I do the best job, but I had the foresight to get the hell out of the place 6 months before the team folded.
I would also like to address the rumors about me and Rachel Lutzker. Rachel is a lovely girl, but we have the same relationship we had a year and a half ago: we are just friends.
If you or any readers have any questions about me, the Hartford Colonials equipment room, or how much Patrick Dux did NOT deserve to win the poll, feel free to contact me. Next time I'm in LA, I plan on catching a game down in Chavez Ravine.

It's once again time to grab a letter from the hordes of messages in the SoSG Mailbag. Today's letter (to be accurate, it's an email), randomly chosen from our pile of emails, comes from Mark Crumpacker of Denver, CO:
I'm a long-time Dodger fan and I've enjoyed reading your site over the years. I especially appreciated your campaign to "Free James Loney" when he was unjustly entrenched on the bench behind Nomar Garciaparra, as well as your crusade against Frank McCourt's continual management fiascoes (parking lot system, mandatory charitable contributions, Andruw Jones and Juan Pierre signings, etc.). I also have a lot of questions about our relief corps and how they're going to hold up in the middle innings before [Jonathan] Broxton can take the mound.
So my question is, where do you guys like to go for lunch?Hey Sons,
You know, Mark (can I call you Mark?), that's a great question, that I'm sure is on the tip of many SoSG readers' tongues. But to answer it directly, what's often on the tip of our tongues is none other that Chipotle burritos, which we have found to be a great place for casual dining at reasonable prices!
The SoSG staff frequents a local Chipotle after most staff meetings, and we are especially fond of the Carnitas Burrito with all the trimmings (except Lasorda, who is lactose-intolerant so he refrains from the sour cream--and when he doesn't, hoo boy, it's a fun time in the offices that afternoon, when hijinks ensue!). There's something about the packed goodness of the Carnitas Burrito that is so warm, so fresh, so tasty, and so wonderful--it just keeps you toasty inside all day long. And that, Mark, is especially important living here in Southern California, where the winters are long and cold and the people out at the beach don't have to worry about being so fit and trim!
