Emmet Sheehan (5-8, 5.08) vs. Eury Perez (7-11, 3.94).
With yesterday's dispiriting loss, the Dodgers are now sandwiched in between the Brewers and Braves: 2.5 games behind the Brewers for the NL one-seed, and 2.5 games ahead of the Braves (who are in the three-seed). The Brewers and Rays have already clinched playoff berths.
I think we spoiled our chances for a weekend playoff berth clinch with yesterday's loss, but I'm not that good at math so I might be wrong.

JDP gets his first major league hit, a MASSIVE shot into the upper deck for a three-run HR.
Sheehan has the bases loaded in the bottom of the fourth but wriggles out of the jam.
3-0 LA through 4
May be something brewing here in the top of the seventh.
Sheehan ended up with six scoreless frames!
JDP almost had a second bomb. He hit a missile off the wall for a double but gets stranded.
Nope. Freeman GIDPs for the second time today.
Why is Pepsi zero sugar using a dated third eye blind song?! Lame
Henriquez is ineffective. He has the bases loaded and then gives up a single to Otto Lopez, so it’s 3-2 LA, B8
Scott comes in to lock down the eighth.
Freeland with a one-out single
Freeland steals second! Come on Mookie
Mookie with a huge double to the right field corner! Wow
4-2 LA
Bases loaded and Tucker takes strike three. He goes 0-for-4 on the day. Yay
There is absolutely NO chemistry between Stephen Nelson and Dontrelle Willis. Which is too bad, because I would LOVE Nelson to whip out a “whatchoo talking’ about, Willis?!”
Scott still in for the ninth
Freddie fields a grounder and makes a bad flip to Scott. Leadoff single for the Fish
Next guy bunts his way on. Holy smokes.
Scott blows the save. It’s 4-4, none out, man on second.
Scott yanked.
And, we are walked off. Fuck
Yeesh! That was bad.
