When we last saw the Diamondbacks, oh...two games ago, the Snakes split four games at our house. Which in my mind, was a steal--this is a team that's supposed to finish with only 76 wins this year (latest PECOTA projections). But small ball at the plate, and a total Dodgers power outage in the even-numbered games, doomed the Dodgers and left us with an unsatisfying series split.
Winning two against the Rockies puts us at 4-2 and atop the NL West by a game. And there's no Urias on the mound this series, so we'll need the next four in the rotation to step up and keep our two-game win streak alive.

Joe Davis commented on this last game, every game this series is at a different time. Very strange.
That’s what AZ gets for never changing for daylight savings
Thanks for the lineup, Quad!
Dodgers up 3-0, mid-3! Muncy with two runs scored.
4-1 LA through 6.
May worked out of a little bit of a jam there, including a clutch K to Marte.
5-1 LA in the seventh (Freeman's first HR of the year, in T7), but Alex McCarthy just got a one-out triple off of Vesia. Rick Monday is all over the fact that Vesia didn't even back up the play.
Slappy lets the ball by him, McCarthy scores. 5-2 LA.
Moreno doubles. Someone take out Vesia before this turd gets any worse.
He's pulled. Vesia's ERA is currently 13.50.
Almonte comes in and gets out of the jam.
5-2 through 7
Bickford lets Ketel Marte have a leadoff double in the bottom of the eighth. Marte takes third on a WP.
Bickford then got Gurriel Jr. to K for the first out.
He Ks Christian Walker for the second out.
Bickford gets Carroll to pop to the infield. Wow. Marte stranded on third.
5-2 LA through 8.
Padres lost to the Braves. They're now 3-4.
Outman and Thompson (PH for Heyward) both walk, bookending a Chris Taylor K. So one out, men on first and second, and here's Mookie.
Betts is 0-for-4 with 3 Ks tonight
Mookie hit on the head with a 2-0 count, but it apparently wasn't too damaging. Bases loaded though.
"If you can borrow a trashcan from Houston,..." (Rick Monday, trying to describe what it's like to be hit in the helmet with a baseball)
Nice job, Rick!
Freeman and Smith strand three runners.
Evan Phillips in to try and get the save.
Two outs, both on flies to Peralta. None on
Called strike three!
WIN
Good morning! Three-game win streak!

Yikes! I forgot this game is already on. Betts leadoff double and takes third on a PB. Martinez sacrifices Mookie home with one out. Muncy walks. Vargas walks.
Thompson called strike 3.
1-0 LA through a half-inning.
CT3 with a HR! 3-2 LA
Dammit
These crazy start times are driving me nuts! Here's GAME 3
Betts RF
Freeman 1B
Smith C
Muncy 3B
Martinez DH
Outman LF
Vargas 2B
Heyward CF
Taylor SS
Syndergaard P
Dodgers up 4-1 on a Muncy single (scoring Freeman), Martinez sac fly scoring Smith, and another Outman HR also scoring Muncy.
4-1, two outs in B2
Syndergaard coughs up the lead. 5-4 Snakes in the second.
We are down 6-5
Vargas fails with Martinez on second and Outman on first.
AZ 6-5, mid-5
Vesia out there to start the fifth. That’s not a good sign.
Yep, the Dodgers lose 12-8, and drop back into a three-way tie for first, with SD and AZ. Brutal.
Muncy is batting .129 on the year.
Chris Taylor is .125.
Game 4, we choke away a leaf in the first fricking inning
We tie it back up at 3, only to watch AZ take it right back, 6-3
And we are down 11-3.
We are screwed.
