After a shitshow of a homestand, the Dodgers no longer sit alone at the top of baseball (tied with the Red Sox), not to mention the NL West (tied with the Giants). We still have the highest run differential at +34, which doesn't salve the wounds any.
The Dodgers average less than three runs per game over our past 10 games, which is reflected in our statistics: only Justin Turner has an OPS over 1.0, and we've got Gavin Lux (.189), Luke Raley (.206), Austin Barnes (.216) all sitting around the Mendoza line (Muncy is batting .227, but at least he can work a walk sometimes). Bernie Brewer might be pretty happy this series. Drink up!

HOLA SoSG NATION!! I've missed the last few games so I'm really happy to see our boys today!
@Sax...Love the Weekend at Bernies shout out.
I am loving getting to know Trevor Bauer. Dude has a great personality.
It sounds like Nomar doing the game with Joe. Hoping all is well with Original Orel. BTW...Whats up with our Orel, haven't seen him here?
No score thru 3.
Bauer walks Garcia who is batting below the Mendoza Line.
Travis Shaw hits a 2 runner in fourth. 2-0 Brews.
Still 2-0 Brews after 6.
Mookie leads off with a four pitch walk, and Corey comes out and swings at the first pitch to GIDP. What the hell, Corey?!
We are down 0-2 in the eighth inning. We are awful
Muncy up in 8th with JT and Fresh Prince on board. Best look so far at this game.
SAXY...YOU MADE IT HERE!!
In other news...Muncy grounds out to end Dodgers "rally".
Josh Hader in for the save. Last chance for Dodgers.
Austin Barnes to PH for Bauer, with CT3 on second and two out. T9
Barnes brings in CT3. Mookie up.
NOPE. No soup for us tonight. 2-1 Brewers.
And, we lose 2-1.
We're now in second place, guys. Giants are idle.

Uceta P (MLB Debut)
Uceta turned 23 in January. He was called up yesterday when Graterol went out again. Doc says he'll probably go a couple of innings with the game being a bullpen game.
Dodgers squander two runners again. 0-0 mid-1
Our new pitcher looks like he's going with the Tatis Jr look with the blond dreads. He gets Wong to pop out to Lux for first out.
Our baby pitcher gets out of the first looking pretty good. No score after one.
You're out. Siddown asshole.
Jackie Bradley Jr. hits a 2 run HR. 2-0 Brews after 2.
Scotty Alexander in for the new kid.
My daughter just discovered Mitch White. She thinks he's the most beautiful person she's ever seen. She gets her good taste from her mama.
Solo HR for AJ!!! 2-1 Brewers.
2 hits. TWO FREAKING HITS! What the hell?
CT3 called for a check swing strike and Doc gets tossed arguing.
Doc chewing on the first base ump. He must be a frustrated as the rest of us. He gets his say and is promptly ejected from the game.
Brewers get a 3rd run in 8th. Boys behind 3-1 going to the 9th.
Hader Ks Seager, JT and Muncy to end the game. Our offense is seriously bad.

"Betts!", my mom texts me.
I turn on the TV.
Urias hits a solo HR to tie the game.
And then Dustin May exits in the middle of an AB due to an arm problem. That looks bad.
TV turned off.
Our IL is getting packed. Hope May is not out too long.
@Sax Rough few minutes of the game for you.
Cleavinger doesn’t look good yet. Walk, single, walk.
He escapes! Whew!
Betts HBP and Seager triples him home. 2-1 Good Guys!
Travis Shaw HR ties game again.
First and third with one out, and both Seager and JT K swinging.
That’s our season right there
2-2, mid-5
I’m on my first beer. I’m late
Vesia making his Dodgers debut in the 10th with a one run lead is driving us all to drink. Walks his first two batters.
Bases loaded nobody out.
Big strikeout there! One down!
Sac fly. Bad throw by Pollock allows the tying run to score.
Bad throw AJ
@Quad or Sax... Does this kid have any big league experience?
Hi Karen! I think Joe Davis said he pitched for the Marlins last year. Brought up early because of all the players who got COVID.
Smith with a triple drives in 2 runs!
On the pregame show JHair predicted Mookie would score 3 times tonight. Lets hope he's right.
I may have a small stroke before this game is over.
Mitch White with a big K. Two down!
Grounded under Seaver’s glove ties the game. Damn!
Or Seager.
Maybe I'm just being bitchy but it seems to me that Corey doesn't dive for the ball over there at short.
And we lose in 11. That was a tough one.
Oh this one hurts.
@karen: totally with you, what was up with Seager’s effort there
GAME 4
1st inning: Pollock grand slam!
2nd inning: Beaty grand slam!
9-0!
Matt Beaty is having a day! 7 RBI through three ABs, and it's only top 4.
Dodgers 11-1
We will need the 10-run lead for this bullpen though
11-1 LA through four.
Shawn Green had a great game several years ago that was also in Milwaukee. It was the only game that year that wasn't televised. Can't remember the specifics though.
@Karen Was that the game he hit 4 HRs?
Also in the breaking the slump memories...Also several years ago Mark Grace was on the Jim Rome show, I think he was playing first base for the Cubs at the time, and he was telling Rome what a 'slump buster' was. He said a player has to go to a bar and find the ugliest, gnarliest girl in the place and take her back to the hotel. I know I'm not doing the story justice but it was one of the funniest stories I ever heard.
@Q7...I think so but I also thought he had 9 rbi's but Joe said Gil Hodges and James Loney were the only two in the franchise that had done it.
I remember the “slump buster” story. It’s a doozy!
Kickham: not a great debut so far. One inning, three runs. Lots of hits including a HR.
16-4 LA through 8
Kickham didn't get an out until his 22 pitch. Poor kid, I hope he's not traumatized.
So AJ is a mere mortal.
WIN. We can all exhale now.
Kickham finishes the ninth with two Ks. Way to settle, kid!
16-4 WIN
