If I understand the byzantine rules for home field advantage in the postseason, the Dodgers are in pretty good shape with a 4.5-game lead over the Nationals with six games to go. However, if that rule of "better regular season record" applies for the World Series (and I believe I've read at least one article claiming that the Dodgers would wield the advantage over Cleveland due to our head-to-head record--which really doesn't make sense), then we had better play hard, being only one game up on Cleveland and four games on Houston.
Whatever, I suppose. I'm still excited that we're in the postseason again.
Monday 9/25: Yu Darvish vs. Travis Wood (W, 9-3: Puig benched for showing up late; Forsythe 3-for-3 with 4 RBI; Darvish 7.0 IP with 1 ER and 9 Ks; Baez still sucks)
Tuesday 9/26: Alex Wood vs. Dinelson Lamet (W, 9-2: Dodgers clinch home-field advantage through NLCS; Puig back in the lineup but goes 1-for-3; Alex Wood 6.0 IP with 2 ER and 1 K; Grandal and Seager each with a three-run HR; A-Gon with a solo HR of his own; Baez did not pitch today but still sucks)
Wednesday 9/27: Rich Hill vs. Clayton Richard (W, 10-0: Rich Hill goes 7.0 IP with 10Ks and 0 ER; McCarthy and Jansen each pitch a scoreless inning of relief with 2 Ks each; Puig, Granderson, and Seager all hit solo HRs; Dodgers bat around in the third for four runs; Taylor gets hurt and leaves in the first after tweaking his knee running to first; Baez did not pitch again but I am sure he still sucks)

Yuuuu had a no hitter going for a while. Currently 8-1 in the bottom of the seventh.
Logie Bear and Barnes have bombs tonight.
Maeda coming in to pitch the 8th.
Darvish had a great outing.
Maeda, not so much
Why the hell is Baez pitching for god's sake
Baez escapes
Unfortunately he hasn't escaped the team.
WIN
Dodgers win, 9-3
Maeda didn't get much help from his defense. A hit batter, passed ball, then two infield singles and a botched double play.
GAME 2
Utley 2B
Seager SS
Turner 3B
Bellinger CF
Grandal C
Puig RF
González 1B
Ethier LF
Wood P
Taylor, Forsythe sit
But Puig is back!

ball
One pitch, one out. Nice start for Alex.
Slow dribbler allows Christian Villanueva to reach. One on, one out.
Wil Myers grounds out 2-3. Villanueva to second.
Hunter Renfroe with a 1-3 ground out.
Wood with six pitches in the first, five for strikes; no ball was hit into mid-outfield depths. Okay.
0-0 through 0.5
Puig sporting some fancy shaves on the side of his head. Glad he's taking the two days' benching seriously.
Utley with a leadoff walk to start the first.
Utley steals second
Seager Ks. Didn't look good on that 87-MPH slider.
Turner Ks, also on a slider (85mph). Two out. We're going to strand Utley, unless Codylove can happen
Cody Ks looking. What a wasted opportunity.
0-for-3 with RISP
0-0 through 1
Puig gives one a ride but it's a fly out to right-center. Here's A-Gon with two out in the bottom of the second.
A-Gon, two-out double. IBB Ethier to get to Wood.
Wood Ks. 0-0 through 2.
Now 0-for-4 with RISP, through 2
Okay gotta hop with one out and one on in the top of the third. Still scoreless. Wood at 30 pitches.
Why do our fans keep interfering
Grandal with a three-run bomb! Two two-out walks helped this out. 4-2 LA
Nats and Indians both lost today
Bellinger guns a runner at the plate! Great throw!
5-2 Dodgers at the stretch.
AGon!!
Seager's RBI single makes it 5-2.
Hey Quad, I haven't seen Bellinger's out, but that's particularly awesome as Cody is in center field
Wow A-Gon with a HR. 6-2. If this team starts seeing A-Gon heat up and Grandal heat up...
Bottom 7, one out (Puig leadoff K), 6-2 LA.
Two-out double by PH Granderson
Hi Sax. It was a hard line drive to center that Bellinger charged and threw a bullet to home to nail the runner by half a step.
Forsythe works a walk. Two on, two out, B7. Corey up.
Seager!!
Are the Pads bad or are we getting good again?
Yes.
Seager HR! Another three-run HR makes it 9-2 Dodgers. End 7.
It is really hard to tell if this is us or just the Pads. I suppose the Rox series at year's end will be a barometer.
Culberson in for Seager at SS.
Segedin in for A-Gon at first.
Barnes in for Granderson at second.
Forsythe switches to third. Tony Watson replaces Justin Turner's spot in the lineup.
I'm so confused
Watson gets Yangervis Solarte to ground to short. Who is now Charlie Culberson.
Anyone keeping score at the game tonight has a messy book for sure.
Jabari Blash, groundout 4-3. Two out
Aybar groundout 3 (to first). 9-2 LA, mid-8
Verdugo PH for Bellinger. I remember that guy!
Can I make 18K more points in the last 1d 10h to get a 14th Riri cover?
Oh wait, wrong game.
Verdugo works a 3-0 count into a lineout at third.
Pederson walks. (I remember that guy!)
Farmer singles so we have first and second with one out.
Barnes pops out, infield fly roule. Two out for O'Koyea Dickson, born in 1990
And, O'Koyea pops to catcher. 9-2 through 8
Win number 101!
Wow, Brock Lobster pitches a scoreless ninth.
Dodgers win 9-2.
Post-Game Series Thread updated!
(man, that just does not roll off the tongue at all.)
WIN
GAME 3

Hill P
7-0 LA through three. Wow.
Hope Taylor is ok though
Even Rich Hill has a RBI
10-0 win in the final home game of the regular season. Sweep!
Good news: sweep, big offensive showings, good starting pitching
Bad news: it's the Padres, so who the hell knows
