It's the battle for first place! The Dodgers are currently atop the NL West with a 48-26 record and the Rox and Snakes are tied for second place, both teams 1.5 games back. (Like the Dodgers, the Snakes are also 9-1 in their last ten games — what's up with that?) Anyhoo, we have our three best pitchers going this series, away from the Kemp-killing bandbox that is Coors Field. Dodgers have won seven straight. Let's make it eight.
Fri, 7p: Alex Wood vs Kyle Freeland
Sat, 7p: Clayton Kershaw vs Tyler Chatwood
Sun, 1p: Brandon McCarthy vs German Marquez
note: this series thread is late because Sax hit the wrong button. Sorry.

Game 1: Win! Alex Wood looked good again! And Puig with a home run! Seager left the game early with hamstring cramping.
Game 2: Win! Clayton Kershaw struggled through the first inning but escaped, and the Dodgers scored four to win 4-0. Stop reaching over the walls on balls in play, you idiots (unless it shortchanges the opponents).
Game 3: Seager still out and Puig resting his hammy as well.
McCarthy has two walks and three wild pitches in the second to put the Rockies on the board.
Logan at first goes for a grounder he should have left for the second baseman, everybody safe.
Sac fly and a basehit later and it's now 3-0 Purple guys.
Boys trying to mount a come back after scary revisit of last years yips for McCarthy.
Kiké and Bellinger with bombs! 5-4 Rockies in the bottom of the third.
Just saw a replay of Bellinger's home run and the follow through on his swing reminds me of Piazza's.
Mike Freeman??
According to twitter, Freeman up means Seager to the DL soon.
Well crap.
Kinda surprised Puig isn't going to the 10-day DL given his history of hamstring pulls.
I wonder if we'll get a chance to see Verdugo or Calhoun this season.
7-6 Blue!!!
5 Dodgers runs on 4 WPs.
Belli brings score to 11-6 with 2 run blast
THIS IS INSANE
I mean, Kenley RBI double!
Kenley (yes) doubles in Logan. 12-6 Blue.
Darn you Orel!!!
Kenley walked a dude!
SWEEP BABY!!!
SWEEP
DAMMIT
After all those years of watching sloths like Karros, Piazza, Ethier, and AGon, I'm still getting used to seeing speed, athleticism, and awesome baserunning. It's so much more fun.
That was one crazy game! I love it!
David Vassegh had the wrong guess at Seager to the DL. Apparently it was Gutierrez who went on the DL instead.
