Ninth inning, down by one run, and Shohei Ohtani hits a leadoff triple. With 2-3-4 coming up, we should be in good shape to at least tie the game, correct? Nope: Freddie Freeman Ks; Mookie Betts grounds to short; Max Muncy IBBs; and Tommy Edman flies to center to end the game. Dodgers lose, 4-3.
Unlike the photo above, the Dodgers' offense is definitely not clutch. And tonight we throw Roki Sasaki, so I suppose the Braves are looking for a sweep.
