Tue 6.8 4p: Buehler vs. Brubaker Wed 6.9 4p: TBD vs. T Anderson Thu 6.10 9.30a: Urias vs. M Keller
Dropping two of three in Atlanta bodes poorly for this series @ PNC Park. I thought we could take the series, but instead we couldn't establish any sort of momentum save one 8-run inning in the first game of the Braves series. Now, on to the Pirates, worst in the NL Centra (9.5 games out of first). But we're now three games out of first place in the NL West and fading fast, despite a league-leading run differential. Not feeling good here.
UPDATE 6/9: Dodgers win Game 1, 5-3. But it would have been closer, had Ke'Bryan Hayes' HR not been overturned after he forgot to step on first base:

Pollock gets us on the board with an RBI double to score Lux in the top of the fifth.
Man these early games always sneak up on me
Betts with an RBI triple, and then Muncy with an RBI single. It’s 3-0 LA, B5.
Yikes. Nate Jones gives up two solo HRs in the ninth, but we hold on to win 5-3 (Jansen comes in for the final out).
WIN
Wow, just saw the Ke’Bryan Hayes HR, earlier in this game, got overturned because he didn’t touch first base. Brutal.

JT HOME RUN!

Leadoff single for the Pirates' Adam Fraizer. Man on first, none out, B1
6-pitch K to Ke'Bryan Hayes. One out.
Bryan Reynolds forces Frazier at second. Two out.
Colin Moran walks. Two on, two out.
Cat-Man: DO!
2-0 count to Polanco. Come on, Tony.
Cat-man: don't. Polanco singles to Pujols (?) and reaches safely; Reynolds scores. Tie game. Still two out. Gonsolin at 24 pitches.
gonsolin is having a horrible first. Full count and bases loaded.
Perez thankfully strikes out on a foul tip.
Gonsolin needed 36 pitches there.
1-1 through 1.
Lux walks but that's it for the Dodgers in the second.
Gonsolin comes out and gets two Ks (Tom and Anderson), but just yielded a two-out walk to Frazier.
Gonsolin replaced by Victor Gonzalez after walking the bases loaded with two out in B2
GOnzalez gets out of the jam.
Turner hits another solo HR! 2-1 LA through 2.5
Two RISP for Pittsburgh in B5, but Kevin Newman lines to Cody to end the inning.
2-1 LA through 5--Pirates have stranded 8 runners through five innings.
Pollock with a two-out single in the top of the sixth.
Just saw the highlight; looks like Turner's second HR (to left) was off Ka'ai Tom's glove as he leapt over the wall (and didn't come up with the ball). Wow
Smith walks, Pollock to second. Lux at bat with two out, Anderson still pitching (89 pitches so far). T6
Lux flies out to RF.
LA 2-1, mid-6
2-1 LA, B7. Here's Blake Treinen
CT3 turns an amazing double play, fielding the ball behind second and sprinting to the second-base bag just in time, then making a great throw to first to complete the double play. Wow.
2-1 LA through 7
Lux looked like he got Newman at first, but they called him safe. Dodgers challenging, with one out in the bottom of the eighth.
Dodgers win the challenge, he's out. And Treinen is done, so here comes Kenley. 2-1, two outs in the eighth.
kenley gets the third out on three straight strikes!
Kenley snares a liner comebacker for the final out of the game. Wow
WIN
Dodgers move into second place, 2.0 GB the Giants.

Morning games!
Leadoff HR for Mookie! Atoning for his 0-for-5 yesterday
This game is free on YouTube
1-0 through 0.5
Man on third, two out. Urias gets Stallings to ground to short.
1-0 LA through 1
Lux one-out single, then Barnes works a walk. Two on, one out for Julio Urias.
Urias gets down (?) a sca bunt. Actually he popped it up, but it fell just inside the first-base line. Now two RISP for Mookie, two out.
Mookie walks. Bases loaded for Muncy.
Dammit, Muncy flies out to left. 1-0 LA through 1.5
Urias starts the second by yielding a single and a double. It's 1-1, no out, man on second.
Mookie threw out Gonzalez at the plate to keep the score tied (that was the Pirates' second out).
1-1 after 2
Turner leads off the third with a HBP (left shoulder). Ouch.
It's an all-Sax streak here: 53 comments and counting!
I have no friends.
I'm alone in the SoSG bar, swilling away.
(and it's 10.22am PT)
Bellinger single to right moves Turner to third. None out.
McKinstry sac fly scores one. One out
Lux hits a grounder and forces Beaty at second, but is safe at first. Men at corners, two out, Barnes up (BA .230)
Urias connects and scores two! It’s 4-1. Urias has 7RBI on the season which may be the league-high for a pitcher
Mitch Keller chased.
And now it’s raining. Not good
These YouTube broadcasters are horrible.
With the bases loaded, they first said “if Keller can get out of this with all this traffic, the pirates will be in good shape.” And then one of them noticed that the pitch count was 70 midway through the third. And then they said this bullpen had better be ready and the pirates are in trouble. And then Urias had a two-RBI single. And now Keller is gone.
That was a quick turn of perspective.
Betts Ks for the third out.
3-1 LA, mid-3
5-3 LA. Barnes however comes up with one out and bases loaded, and can't even hit the ball past the pitcher, so they get the force at home.
Two out, bases still juiced, Barnes still impotent.
Taylor up for Urias as a PH, against Bednar
0-2 count to CT3
CT3 Ks.
5-3 LA, mid-7.
Phil Bickford in for the Dodgers.
🐄🔑 singles, Muncy walks. Two on, none out, T8. LA up 5-3
Turner single to center, Betts (who had stolen third) scores. 6-3 LA
Rain delay. Let’s see—will JT’s RBI hold up?
