Tues 9.22: May vs. Montas Wed 9.23: Urias vs. Manaea Thu 9.24: TBD vs. Fiers All games 6.30p
Home stretch, six games to play (all at home), with the Dodgers wielding a four-game lead over San Diego. At this stage it's just about getting our pitching roles defined, now that Caleb Ferguson is out for the year, and we are crossing our fingers to find out if Walker Buehler is blister-free.
The last series in Colorado, as predicted, did pick up our bats a bit; Cody Bellinger finally looked like he found a swing that didn't cause him to lose all balance (not to mention his helmet, distressingly), Gavin Lux went yard, and Chris Taylor showed he is getting hot at just the right time. I'm starting to give up hope on Max Muncy this year, but I have this feeling he is going to prove me wrong in the postseason (remember Game 3 of the 2018 World Series? No? Well, I've put a reminder below).
The A's have clinched the AL West with a 6.5-game lead over the Cheaters. That said, Dodgers-A's: It's always a fun time @ the Ravine. (Skip to 6:34 for the big fly (and a shot of me, on deck.)
UPDATE 9/22 10:04 PM: 8TH CONSECUTIVE DIVISION TITLE!

Official word from #Dodgers -- Justin Turner was scratched with left hamstring discomfort. Left hamstring strain put him on the IL for just over two weeks. Just returned last week, 5 games at DH.
Very strange there in B7: Dodgers had bases loaded with none out and Cody dribbled one to first. Guy on first doesn't come home with the throw, so everyone is safe (Mookie was hauling, but it's still a force out at home so I'm not sure why he didn't throw). 7-2 LA. Still none out.
Smith gets rung up on a very borderline strike. One out.
Chris Taylor GIDPs. 7-2 through seven.

Vin's 1988 World Series ring sells for $160,000. Padres look like they'll lose Clevinger for the season
It was strange not seeing anything from inside the clubhouse after the clinching win last night.
Yeah and the players sounded really bummed to not do champagne and beer showers.
Maybe I will have to do one for them.
Saw a report about a "suspiciously wet" player doing an interview after the game. Maybe they had a secret stash of booze and didn't let cameras in the clubhouse
Muncy's 2-run HR makes it 3-2 A's in the 3rd
Turner just left, but I didn't hear: tell me he's not re-injured?!
Cody HR to lead off the seventh! Dodgers trail 4-3
Cody does look a lot more balanced with his swing now. that's great. A's starter bounced.
Didn't see Turner leave but Doc did say he would limit him to 5-6 innings tonight
I love how they have made Urias go long in this game (8 IP), despite being down. Make him work.
Rios ties it up!
Rios ties it up! 4-4
Joc may be going through some personal shit but his cheerleading skills are unabated
First run allowed by this A’s pitcher all year
A’s pitcher is named Diekman btw
