Happy Memorial Day! And why schedule a four-game series logically over the three-day weekend, when one can make the Dodgers travel all the way back from Pittsburgh (where they swept the Pirates), just to play an early evening Monday game at home? I suppose the only upside is that we're facing the .500 LolMets, starting with a very well-rested Clayton Kershaw. Let's do this.
Sax will be at the Stadium tonight and Tuesday, so drop a line if you'll be there. And dress for the cold front, it's chilly out there!

2-1 LA through 3. Cody HR breaks the tie.
CT3!
Game 2
Will Smith getting jiggy wit it behind the plate tonight!
Well shit. Game tied 2-2 in the seventh when Conforto hits a grand slam. Down 6-2 now.
Will Smith has a single, double, and gunned down a runner in his MLB debut. Two on nobody out in the bottom of the seventh with Joc up to bat.
Beaty with a pinch hit RBI single. Down 6-3 after seven.
Upside: seeing Will Smith's multi-hit MLB debut
Downside: watching our bullpen implode. Ye gods.
You got that right Sax. 4 relievers in one inning is never good.
Have no fear delino is here. Though apparently we are not showing Newman and the Seinfeld
Family much love.
This game is moving sloth pace
Holy smokes, we were down 8-5 in the bottom of the ninth:
Pederson solo HR to leadoff
Muncy solo HR
Turner 2B
Bellinger RBI 2B -- tie game
Seager IBB
Beaty infield single (!)
...
none out, rancho ardiendo...
Verdugo up with an 0-2 count.
VERDUGO SF! DODGERS WIN 9-8!
Diaz didn't retire anyone (except Verdugo on the SF)
