What'd we miss?
Hey! We're alive! Mostly. Sincere apologies for the extended hiatus. The Dodgers losing in the postseason (again) hit us extra hard, and we kind of went into hiding. (I haven't even been tweeting all that much, so you know it's bad.)
So, here we are again. This is mostly just to get a new discussion thread going. No real news to share. Have the Dodgers even made any deals? I think there was a small trade or something. I honestly am not remembering at the moment. Hang on, let me Google...

"11/11/16 Los Angeles Dodgers traded LF Howie Kendrick to Philadelphia Phillies for 1B Darin Ruf and 2B Darnell Sweeney."
WARM STOVE!
Also, Yoenis Cespedes re-signed with the Mets today, so you can take that fantasy scenario off the table, assuming any of you believed getting him was realistic and/or necessary. Still no word on any attempts by the Dodgers to re-sign Turner or Jansen. My gut feeling is Turner comes back, and Jansen takes a big payday elsewhere. (PLEASE NOT GIANTS PLEASE NOT GIANTS)
Finally, we'd be remiss in not mentioning today is Vin Scully's 89th birthday. Happy Birthday, Vinnie! We miss you and we need you now more than ever.

Thank you, Gnomes
I feeling pretty down about our stoving this winter. It doesn't feel like we'll be making a lot of impactful changes, not like previous seasons. The whole payroll reduction/prepping for the 2017 free agent class/general lack of available 2016 talent has me pretty blah about it all
Rich Hill close to signing deal with Dodgers. Dodgers having him wait to sign to make sure he doesn't blister his finger while signing
Geez Louise the Marlins may be offering Kenley a ton of money.
