Vin Pin

Just obtained my 2014 Rose Parade pin commemorating Vin as this year's esteemed Grand Marshall.

I had know idea our guy was this years Grand Marshall. Yes, I am a wee bit out of touch these days. It's about time he was shown this honor. I will now absolutely be dragging my tired ass out of bed for the beginning of the parade. Congrats Vinny!! Your subjects await!

They've tried to get him to do it in the past and he would always turn it down. This time he gave in.

That sounds about right. For someone who is as public as he is with the team and all, he is such a private man about his personal life.

I am just so happy to see him at the parade. I am jonesing for baseball and Vin just might be the perfect fix!

Knew the right people in the Tournament of Roses club thingy. I believe they'll be selling them publicly, too. Got mine for $4 each but I think that was the Tournament House price. If I come across one as I travel long and far from my [undisclosed location] to Pasadena, I'll snag you one.
