SoSG Dusty and I agree: It takes a certain type of ballsy individual to bring a broom to an opposing team's ballpark, let alone the stadium of your biggest rivals. So we salute you, Mr. Blue-Broom-Carrying Dodger Fan in San Francisco. You represent where others fear to tread.

Post-Game 100 Thread: Canadian Sweep
DODGERS 8, BLUE JAYS 3
This team. This fucking team. This is getting downright ridiculous.
This did not look like a game the Dodgers were going to win. There were what felt like dozens of wasted scoring opportunities. Sure, Nolasco had a no-hitter going for a while, but that dissolved fairly quickly after he served up a two-run double in the fifth. The Blue Jays went ahead 3-2 in the eighth after an A-Gon error. Hanley had gone 0-5 by the top of the ninth.
Then, down to their last strike, something nutty happened. (It's always something nutty lately.) Ethier hit a single to center that would have just moved Puig (who had walked...nutty!) over to third. But the ball took an Astroturf-powered super bounce over the head of Colby Rasmus and Puig scored the tying run.
After a second scoreless inning from Brandon League (Miraculously nutty!), the Dodgers broke the game open for good in the tenth. Two-run home run by Mark Ellis, solo shot by Puig, a walk by A-Gon, a double by Hanley, and a two-run single by Ethier. Whew!
Kenley Jansen wrapped things up (Don't question Donnie here, the alternative was Marmol.) and the Dodgers won their tenth straight road game. Happy flight home to face the Reds for four. At the time of this writing, the Cubs were up on Arizona, but first place is assured regardless.
THIS TEAM!

Post-Game 103 Thread: Tie See You!
DODGERS 4, GIANTS 0
In a complete reversal of the last (horrific) trip to San Francisco, the Dodgers complete a three-game SWEEP(!!!) of the Giants, to climb back into (a tie for) first place in the NL West.
Clayton Kershaw was masterful, pitching a complete game shutout. It was, as Vin noted several times during the telecast, the first time the Dodgers have shut out the Gnats in back-to-back games in SF since the teams moved west.
Today wasn't as much of the Hanley Show as the last two days, but it's clear he's rubbing off on the rest of the lineup. Everybody threw up the above gesture when they got on base!
Luis Cruz continued his attempt to de-Gordon the Dodgers with a double, 2 RBI, and some dazzling glove work. A.J. Ellis had the most A.J. Ellis game possible, walking four times.
Dodgers finish the road trip 7-3 (which is flippin' AMAZING after some of those games in St. Louis), and, perhaps more importantly, Sax evens the Sons' road record at 1-1.
Home tomorrow against the D-Backs. We've got first place back, boys. Let's keep it for good this time.

Post-Game 22 Thread: BroomSucka

DODGERS 2, NATIONALS 0
Well, lads and lasses, our Boys in Blue came through with the win today and, thusly, the sweep over the previously red-hot Nationals. We've now swept three teams already this season. We're a league best 16-6, our best start since 1981.
Fans of great pitching loved this game, while the rest of us napped. Dodgers move to ten games over .500 and the Sons-attended games record moves to 7-0. Good work out there today, Nomo-san! James Loney provided today's only offense (!!! - how many times has that ever been said?) today, so the game ball goes to him. MVP and Ethier are merely reloading to get ready for the upcoming road trip. Excellent outing from Chris Capuano today; another 15 starts like that and I might start giving him mild praise.
Oh yeah, this Bryce Harper guy played again today. He went 1-3 and made an amazing catch off the wall in deep left-center. Glad to see him debut at Dodger Stadium, but glad that he didn't do any major damage to us. The media wanted that to happen so badly.
On to Colorado, and let's win there!
