Game 119 Thread: Aug 11 @ Angels, 6.30p

Apparently, the Angels' Strike Force is not their offensive lineup.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto (10-7, 2.51) vs. José Soriano (7-9, 4.01).

The Angels, the fourth-worst team in the American League, get a chance for some crosstown payback to motivate what is otherwise another lost season in Anaheim. This three-game series in Anaheim precedes a stretch where the Dodgers will play six of ten games against the Padres, who are only two games back of the Dodgers and nipping at our heels. Can we stop the Angels from lighting up the halo?

The Angels have our number. It's 5-0 LAA, B5, one out. Yoshi is getting hit all over the place.

Meanwhile, Padres up on SF 1-0 in the top of the sixth, and threatening for more.

I hate to see these guys get hurt. Unless, of course, if it's Manny Machado or Carlos Correa.

Muncy with a 3-run HR to make it 7-4 LAA. But I feel for the Angels' right fielder who looks like he's pretty badly hurt trying to catch up to that homer. The cart is out, he's got a serious left-leg injury.

I didn't see the play and they're not showing the replay. It must have been bad.

Rojas strikes out on three pitches. Yay.

@Saxy....His cleats got caught in the bottom of the wall and he twisted and ended up in a heap.

He is a 27 year old rookie from Columbia. I can only imagine how hard this kid worked to get to the Bigs. Thoughts and prayers.
