In fact, no one knows the best way to evaluate a pitcher in terms of his upcoming post-season potential. But for certain it is obvious to all but the most obstinate that recent poor performance, through both the short and medium terms, however it is measured, is likely the best indicator we know that a skipper should consider another pitcher who has had more recent success, however it is measured, in the last short to medium term.Kyle Bakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02074411479856389109noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36360371.post-36727323675174483952009-09-19T23:57:56.554-07:002009-09-19T23:57:56.554-07:00Sweet dreams.Sweet dreams.Greg Zakwinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09064188830164937436noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36360371.post-74952039345197566092009-09-19T23:55:06.392-07:002009-09-19T23:55:06.392-07:00While I would love to continue this debate, it'...While I would love to continue this debate, it's past my bedtime.Mr. LA Sports Czarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08973447602451236780noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36360371.post-50667026015264188582009-09-19T23:51:17.918-07:002009-09-19T23:51:17.918-07:00The monetary comment was related to why making tha...The monetary comment was related to why making that trade would not be good for the Dodgers, aside from age and performance.Greg Zakwinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09064188830164937436noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36360371.post-4204252447814340542009-09-19T23:50:12.872-07:002009-09-19T23:50:12.872-07:00Dusty Baker- In 2007, Tim Wakefield had 17 wins.
