And its only for the first month. Sorry if I don't see the disaster in this.

Think about it, if this happens to any other team they are down to 3 starters already. We still have an above average 4, and won't need a 5th starter til mid April anyway. Way too many "ifs" to think about another injury. But to act like the Dodgers are suddenly in huge trouble because of this is ridiculous. This was the whole point of getting the depth in the first place, and by May they go right back to having the deepest staff in the bigs.Mike G.https://www.blogger.com/profile/04337651137400989426noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36360371.post-79358881731027457872011-03-10T11:15:37.629-08:002011-03-10T11:15:37.629-08:00@FB, Padilla was our opening day starter last year...@FB, Padilla was our opening day starter last year! I haven't looked at the schedule but there are usually several opportunities during the first month to hide your last guy.
Were you really counting on Garland or Padilla? I can't imagine losing either of those guys would make or break any team's season, let alone oursFred's Brimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06689859663838105360noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36360371.post-62224805828294362102011-03-10T09:49:58.435-08:002011-03-10T09:49:58.435-08:00@Josh S 9:16a: We have collective dicks? I'm OK with struggling early, as long as they can figure things out and not dig too deep a hole.

Take last season for example: Injury-plagued early on, but cruising by June. Now what do we do?

Even with that, I am still glad we aren't the Yankees who may have to depend in Bartolo Colon and Freddy Garcia to get them through the seasonFred's Brimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06689859663838105360noreply@blogger.com
