oh well, Abreu is indeed expensive, but he really doesn't get injured, is a great hitter with power, steals bases, has a good arm and he seems to be a very hardworking player, sometimes Matt Kemp reminds me of him (only if they'd allow him)...

I wonder if it could be possible for those Carmax text message voters to be any more biased. Last week, they voted for Brad Penny as a better pitcher than Jake Peavy. Tonight, it's Joe Torre dominating the voting as best manager in the last ten years (over Cox and LaRussa). I'm not saying it's not true, but a discerning voting base might think about it just a little more, and not just go for a guy just because he's been in Dodger blue for about five minutes.
