The caveat is, the postponed game would have to matter. In the case of this specific series, the Dodgers won 2. If they had split, then the postponed game would have determined the outcome of the original scheduled series and would be a sudden death game.

Now I need to figure out if the rescheduled game should count as part of the title match (should the Dodgers still be champs by then).

This is starting to turn into actual work.Hideo Nomohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04049080161236161481noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36360371.post-4603233034896989922015-05-11T12:47:10.505-07:002015-05-11T12:47:10.505-07:00So the makeup game is in the middle of the series ...So the makeup game is in the middle of the series in Colorado June 1-3, ie 2 games on June 2.

I also like the idea of single fall, winner take all, but this would be weird. If the makeup game is the first game on June 2 and the Dodgers lost, they could win the regularly scheduled games on June 2 and 3 and take the belt right back

But when would there be a single, standalone game where winner take all really applies? The games are usually bundled into other series. The standalone games are pretty rareFred's Brimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06689859663838105360noreply@blogger.com
