All that winning just caught up with the Dodgers. With Matt Kemp already on the DL, Carl Crawford was scratched from tonight's lineup with lower back stiffness. Then Yasiel Puig, after running noticeably slowly on two grounders, was taken out of the game after four innings for "precautionary reasons" related to his sore left hip.
A.J. Ellis, who has thrown out 54% of baserunners this season, had second base stolen on him twice tonight. Clayton Kershaw struck out 10 but the three runs he gave up were more than enough for Colorado.
The cherry on top? Arizona won, and San Francisco is winning. Back at it tomorrow!

Can't be in first by the break.
That's ok. We were in first at the break last year, and look where that got us.
Well, 16 out of 20 ain't bad.
Everyone has a bad day now and then.
Yeah, because it was really the late GT that caused us to lose tonight.
Don't worry about it gnomes! Late GT is better than no GT!
I loved the need casios bit - still cracking me up.
