Spring Training Pregame Day 1

So we got home in one piece and I was able to download the pictures from three different cameras (mine, mama Cora, and Mrs Cora).  Overall we have about 2000 pictures from the three days of baseball goodness.  As I am trying to go through them all, I'll post some of them today and throughout Spring Training.  But to get us started, from Day 1 pregame...

Yeah Arizona!

At 9 am when gates open.  Only ones tailgating (game is at 1 pm).
Map of the facility.  Dodgers on the right side, Sox on the left.

More pictures after the jump...(if this jump thing works...)

So many choices...

Lovely stream separating the Dodgers and White Sox

I wasn't allowed over to the Minor League fields on this day

Cute interaction with Matt Wallach and a young fan.  Matt signed the ball, dropped the ball, picked it up and instead of just giving it back to her, proceeded to dust it off on his uniform.  Very cool.

Ecstatic young fans with Matt Wallach.  The boy said "Thank you Mr. Dodger!"  How can you not stop and sign for that kid.

Charley Steiner is going to back to the fence! It is high! It is DEEP!  It could be...!!! Oh wait, he's just giving someone an autograph.

An autograph from Stan Katsen does not make that ball worth a billion dollars, does it?

White Sox practicing.  There were almost no Sox fans around.

White Sox players coming out of the tunnel.

If you are a White Sox fan and want to interact with the players, you might want to consider coming down to Camelback Ranch.  There were only a couple of fans there.
So that is it for Pregame Day one.  I will put more up when I get a chance to go through more pictures!

I second Orel's motion. Your caption on Charley Steiner's picture is frickin' priceless.

Well done AC
