BOBBY BOO-YAH

We got him. Yeah baby we got him. And the Dodgers emailed me personally

The Los Angeles Dodgers today announced the signing of outfielder Bobby Abreu to a one-year contract. General Manager Ned Colletti made the announcement.

Abreu is one of just four players in MLB history with more than 500 doubles, 250 home runs, and 350 steals, joining Barry Bonds, Rickey Henderson and Craig Biggio.

Abreu hit 15 or more home runs in 13 consecutive seasons from 1998-2010, including nine 20-homer seasons and two 30-home run campaigns, and driven in 100 or more runs eight times in his career.

Sure he's old, but so is Mariano Rivera and he's doing great. (Too soon?)

I watched him shred the New-York-team-whose-name-I-shall-not-utter for years. Weathered or not, I'm glad he's a Dodger.

I hate you, Ned Colletti.
