Dodgers Accused of Skimping on Security

The McCourt divorce case has already aired the news that the McCourts' plan was always to reduce team payroll. Now, TMZ is reporting that the Dodgers are being accused of skimping on stadium security, as well:

According to the lawsuit obtained by TMZ ... the men claim they were "severely beaten by unknown assailants" while attending a game in February.

The suit claims the McCourt divorce has caused budget cuts for "essential services such as security" -- thus exposing patrons to unreasonable risks.

Also interesting, after perusing the pdf file, is that the court papers were filed on pages watermarked with a TMZ logo. Pretty clever of our California court system to strike a sponsorship deal on its paper resources.

That was probably for the USC-UCLA game. I wonder which team the "unknown assailants" sided with

Sidney Crosby hit a batting practice HR in Pittsburgh today. Can we sign him and teach him to play first base?

The McCourt circus is certainly bringing people out of the woodwork.
